What is the difference between a workplace relationship and a social relationship?
I’m just having issues with explaining it in the right words for my assignment

A workplace relationship is one in which is kept totally to the confines of work.
People are social, saying “Hi” to their office worker’s. Chatting while having a coffee/lunch break.
Have a joke at the copy machine.
But that where it all stays. At work.
At the end of the day they say goodbye and go home.
Some worker’s may reveal issues from home etc at work to fellow worker’s.
Some of these people become friend’s outside of work, developing social relationships. Others just talk at work and go home and worry about their co-worker.
A social relationship is one in which it takes place in everyday society as a whole.
So at the RSL Club for example.
Mum’s meeting for Play Group with their kid’s.
Parent’s getting together with their kid’s friend’s parent’s for a BBQ.
Going and having a talk while enjoying your bowling morning.
Or just going out and having a Girl’s Night out.
Or having someone who can be called on in times of trouble are all examples of social relationships.
