Most people start dating at like 10 or 11 it seems -_- this world is ****ed.
I think 15 ish is acceptable. It’s more serious at like 17/18 when you’re about to be an adult and stuff.

Dating? I always say don’t try to be an adult if you can’t act like one,and dating is more adult-like,so I’d say 16,where you’re actually able to hold down a part time job and drive a car. It gets more serious after high school and college when the partying dies down and people realize there’s more to life.

after 18 or 19 but nowadays even kids of age 12/13/14/15/16 go on date. It sounds so rediculous

It’s different for everybody. I started dating at 14 but I had my most serious relationships at 16. And I usually suggest to just go with whenever you’re ready when you’re in high school. good luck :]

real dating shouldn’t begin untill high school is well under way, i’d say Sophomore year just to be safe. that way, they aren’t too young to feel like they have something to prove to all of their friends, and not too old to think about sex, for the most part. if your child is timid or reserved, they can go through all of high school without dating. all in all, high school is a time of experimentation and getting a feel for what and who your type is. dating doesn’t get serious untill much later, or at least it shouldn’t. though, if maturity is something that your child posseses, which is rare at this age, he/she can have a serious boyfriend/girlfriend by the time high school is over.

Age doesn’t matter on the right time of dating, but the most important aspect to know and measure is the maturity of the both parties.
