    Not many people know this, but the music for this song was written by none other than Alan Menken. Yes, THAT Alan Menken…you know…Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop, etc.

    Does anybody notice that this and the film version were both made in 2000? And get this! They use the same music from this version with Cookie Monster and Lulu in the film version with the two African-American children. The only difference is that Cookie Monster is off-screen. Instead, he just sings and doesn’t appear. Another thing, this one was from Episode 3885 and the film version was the next episode which was Episode 3886!

    Wow! It thought he was going to break cookie in half, but when he gave her that last cookie, my heart just melted! I love when he said “Me feel strangely ok about this” too. Is Cookie Monster falling in love? ^_^

    Not at all my friend, I’m 29 in two months, and I’m watching it too. ^_^ It’s heartwarming, and I’ve just discovered interviews with Elmo (hilarious and they make you feel so good!). I even have a Kermit the Frog backpack! X-D
