Blind date in the middle

The boats all moored here in the port of Nice all look serene in the afternoon sun.

The larger middle boat is called Blind Date and seemed to be offering customers a chance to live like the rich and famous!

Mystery of the random dates

This metal strip is attached to the side of a building in Canal Road, Dublin, opposite The Barge pub. It stretches from the ground to the roof and has seemingly random dates on it. They range from 1900 to 1999, but not in sequence. I’ve been told that the building, a small office block, is owned by the Simon Community. I have no idea of the significance of the numbers. . Perhaps someone in flickr knows the answer.
