What are some text examples from the book Romeo and Juliet that gives examples of friendship love? also can you tell me what exactly that example means in our language today?

There is a strong bond between Mercutio and Romeo. To describe this relationship as love back then was really no big deal. People get all bent out of shape and think Shakespeare was gay, etc. but that’s not true. It was just more acceptable to have men profess love for close friends.
This bond increases the emotional impact on Romeo when Mercutio dies. That’s why they are so close.
