Question by sarama: What does mixing up love with friendship mean?
So I was talking to a mutual friend tonight about how I was told by a guy that he loved me and there was too much past… (mind you we never dated). She advised me to not mix up love with friendship. How am I to take that? waht does it mean?

it means they dont have a clue —- if you cant be friends with the person you love then its not going to work —- i shake my head in amazement —- she really has no idea about love and relationships —- ideally the person you marry will be your best friend (you are going to be together the rest of your lives) as well as your lover
