Question by Lala P: What are some friendship quotes and poems?
I’m making a birthday gift for my best friend and I need lots of poems and quotes on friendship!
So please add a lot but also quality is better than quantity!

Also I haven’t found many poems so I’d rather poems than quotes…. but ANYTHING is good!

Someone’s answer:

Answer by Cubnkitty
“shes my best friend, you break her heart i’ll break your face”

“There exist companions disposed to break one another to pieces, but there exists a friend sticking closer than a brother”

and poems… well i can make poems but i have to know your relationship with your friend. how long have u known her if u have gotten in any fights, if she has let u down or u have let her down ect…

Know better? Leave your own answer in the comments!

I have lots! i made a collage of quotes for my best friend with pictures of us! Here’s a list

-“A friend is one who walks in when others walk out”
    -Walter Winchell

“A friend is someone who is there for you when he’d rather be anywhere else.”
    – Len Wein – Sent by Paulo Louro

“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”
    – Sent by Donna Roberts

    You’re…
    My Friend,
    my companion,
    through good times and bad
    my friend, my buddy,
    through happy and sad,
    beside me you stand,
    beside me you walk,
    you’re there to listen,
    you’re there to talk,
    with happiness, with smiles,
    with pain and tears,
    I know you’ll be there,
    throughout the years!

    Written with a pen
    Sealed with a kiss
    If you are my friend,
    Please answer this:
Are we friends or are we not?
You told me once, but I forgot.
So tell me now and tell me true,
So I can say, I am here for you.
Of all the friends I’ve ever met,
    You’re the one I won’t forget.
And if I die before you do,
    I’ll go to Heaven
    And wait for you.

True friendship isn’t seen with the eyes, it is felt with the heart.
When there is trust, understanding, loyalty, and sharing.
True friendship is a rare feeling, but when it is found
It has profound impact on our well-being, strength, and character.
True friendship does not need elaborate gifts
Or spectacular events in order to be valuable or valued.
To ensure long-lasting quality and satisfaction,
True friendship only needs a few key ingredients:
Undying loyalty, unmatched understanding, unsurpassed trust,
Deep and soulful secrets, and endless sharing.
These ingredients, mixed with personality and a sense of humor,
Can make a friendship last a lifetime!
This is just a thank you, my friend, for all the wonderful and colorful
Special ingredients You’ve brought to my life!

I cannot ease your aching heart,
    Nor take your pain away;
But let me stay and take your hand
    And walk with you today.

I’ll listen when you need to talk,
    I’ll wipe away your tears;
I’ll share your worries when they come,
I’ll help you face your fears.

I’m here and I will stand by you,
    On each hill you have to climb;
So take my hand, let’s face the world…
And live just one day at a time.

You’re not alone, for I’m still here,
    I’ll go that extra mile;
And when your grief is easier,
I’ll help you learn to smile

“And you said that I was naive
And I thought that I was strong
I thought “hey I can leave, I can leave”
But now I know that I was wrong cause I missed you
Yeah I missed you” – Lisa Loeb

“I don’t think it would have been so good if I’d always been there. It’s like they can’t miss you if you don’t go away, … It’s been really nice for people to say, `We’ve missed you.’ They don’t say that every day.” – Trisha Yearwood

“For every thing you have missed, you have gained something else; and for every thing you gain, you lose something” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Things are never quite as scary when you’ve got a best friend.” – Bill Watterson

“My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.” – Henry Ford

“Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” – Albert Camus

“He’s my friend that speaks well of me behind my back” – Thomas Fuller

“A brother is a friend God gave you; a friend is a brother your heart chose for you.” – Proverb
