    My Loving Angel

I believe that we all have an angel.
An Angel that really does care.

An Angel of who looks after us.
An Angel that is always there.

I know for a fact that I have one.
She lives here upon the Earth.

She believes in me and what I do.
    Teaches me what I’m worth.

She picks me up when I fall down.
Makes me laugh when I cry.

Makes me smile when I’m sad.
She keeps my head up high.

Always there when I need her
All I have to do is call.

She’s the one keeping me alive.
    She keeps me standing tall.

I’m so grateful to have her.
    I love her to death.

    Always and forever.
    Until my very last breath.

  9. Katie S says:

I think the two are entirely separate creatures; this explains why you can have guy-friends that you never even *think* about wanting more from, and why you can crush and obsess over guys with whom you have very little in common.

However, I am convinced that you need to have both in a single relationship if you want it to work for the long haul. I come to this conviction from personal experience – the man who is now my husband was the *first* person I dated with whom I was friends first. Every other time, I was chasing a crush, and it didn’t last because there wasn’t anything else there to keep it together once the hormones died down some.
