University of Washington Library & World Tipitaka 2010

One of the great public universities in the US, the University of Washington now is one of the recipients of the 40-volume World Tipitaka in Roman script from Thailand.

The World Tipitaka was handed over by UW Alumni Association of Thailand as a royal gift from the late Princess Galyni Vadhana, royal patron, at this magnificant library in Seattle on March 8, 2010.
